"We can talk the talk, and even talk the walk, but in the end . . we must WALK the WALK."
To commemorate those who are providing educational scholarships and housing grants through donations to the Columbus Board of REALTORS® Foundation Fund, the REALTOR® Foundation Walk was built in the Spring of 2007.
The REALTOR® Foundation Walk is located at the main west entrance to CBR Membership Headquarters. View Pictures

Show your REALTOR® pride and become part of CBR history where you know your paver symbolizes your enduring support of the fund that helps build the future of Central Ohio real estate.
Pavers ordered by May 15 will be placed in the REALTOR® Foundation Walk in the spring of 2008.
Ways to Give.....It's Easy!
You can contribute to the REALTOR® Foundation Fund through any of the following:
· Planned Giving and Bequests - By naming the REALTOR® Foundation Fund in a new or existing life insurance policy, for the small cost of annual premiums you can leave a legacy with major impact on our Foundation Fund mission. A bequest to the fund from your estate also can have a major lasting impact.
· Endowed Scholarships - The fund can invest your gift and the interest will be used to provide a scholarship in your or a loved one's name, in perpetuity.
· In Kind Gifts - Gifts of real estate are an obvious gift option, but stock, bonds, autos, etc. may also be gifted to the fund. The REALTOR® Foundation Fund can receive practically any asset of value.
Foundation Fund Advisory Board Subcommittees
CBR's Foundation Fund Advisory Board, which oversees management of the fund, has four subcommittees to help accomplish objectives necessary to maintaining a successful fund. Members-at-large are urged to volunteer to serve on the following committees:
The Housing-Related Projects Subcommittee develops criteria for identifying and selecting the organizations eligible for grant support from the fund.
The Scholarship Committee develops criteria for identifying and selecting those eligible for scholarships and educational programs eligible for support of the fund.
The Fundraising Committee develops a plan for annual fundraising events including the Celebrity Waiters Luncheon and other event throughout the year.
The mission of the Columbus Board of REALTORS® Foundation Fund is to support real estate related programs and entities whose goals are to improve the overall real estate environment in Central Ohio.
The REALTOR® Foundation Fund has tax-deductible charitable status, providing a way for the real estate industry to pool resources and have a positive impact on Central Ohio housing.
In 1991, the CBR established this Field of Interest Fund in partnership with the Columbus Foundation. With charitable status under Section 501c(3) of the IRS code, gifts qualify the donor to federal, state, estate and/or gift tax deductions. Contributors are advised to consult legal or tax counsel concerning their own tax situation.
